Last week the Governor Cuomo-appointed Public Service Commission approved Con Ed’s rate hike which will raise monthly bills for millions of New Yorkers to invests hundreds of millions of dollars in fracked gas infrastructure and earlier in the week National Grid presented to the North Brooklyn community on a controversial pipeline they want to raise rates for. NYC DSA has a different vision for where our energy system should be headed. This week we talk to Andrea Guinn & Daniel Goulden of the NYC-DSA EcoSocialist Working Group about their public power campaign.
